My mission is to help couples create a first dance that is as unique and meaningful as their love story.
Through personalized guidance, a supportive environment, and a passion for connection, I aim to make learning your first dance a joyful and unforgettable experience. My goal is to not only prepare you for a stunning moment on your wedding day, but to leave you with cherished memories that last long after the music fades.
Finding your dance
I work with couples at every skill level—from beginners who’ve never stepped onto a dance floor to experienced dancers who want to feel more polished and connected. During our lessons, I’ll assess your level and create a dance tailored to you. I want you to surpass your own expectations and create a dance beyond what you thought you could do.
I’m proud to work with couples of all genders, orientations, and backgrounds. I’m intentional about creating a space that’s warm, inclusive, and judgment-free, where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and laugh together.
Hi, I'm Richard.
I started dancing as a young adult because I saw dancers as real-life superheroes. I spent hours every day practicing, pushing myself, and developing my skills. My coaches trained me using very traditional methods, and the expectations were high. I became a skilled dancer, but I never found a path that fully fulfilled me creatively or spiritually.
Instead I found my calling in an unexpected place: working with wedding couples.
I was inspired by how motivated they were, and how much they were able to accomplish with so little time or dance experience. They didn’t need years of training or endless hours of practice to create something special. What they wanted was simple and beautiful: to dance together in front of their friends and family— a moment that feels both intimate and shared with everyone they love.
Each couple challenged me in a new way, and through them I found my calling: helping couples capture those lightning-in-a-bottle moments and find genuine connection through dance.

Dances I teach
I’m skilled as a ballroom and latin dancer. Besides wedding dancing, I teach Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quicksteps, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Salsa, Swing and more.
